Free meditation classes leading up to opening of new wellness spot in LA

So yes, technically you can meditate for free anywhere, but most of us aren't great at it. It helps to have a guide, and the support of a full classroom (and it also helps if that classroom happens to be cozy and beautiful). Enter the DEN, LA's new wellness center opening on February 1 at 360 S. La Brea Avenue.

But before then, from January 18-30, the DEN will offer a series of free guided meditation classes open to the public, giving folks a chance to stop by, check out the space and get in a little zen time before the venue's official grand opening.

The DEN will have classes for beginners and veteran practitioners and daily specialized classes including prenatal and fertility meditation, meditation for business success and self-compassion workshops for DEN members. We think we might take that business class since the DEN is founded by Tal Rabinowitz, a former executive vice president at NBC Entertainment—she probably knows a thing or two about how to be successful in business.

But for now, a complete schedule of the free series can be found on their mobile app, The Den Meditation, and attendees are welcome to drop in or book in advance. Namaste!
