Starting around spring, LA becomes rife with beer and food festivals, daylong affairs that dish out gluttonous helpings of mac and cheese, pulled pork sandwiches and fried everything. Yay for us cheese- and meat-eating Angelenos! Boo for vegans. Enter the Los Angeles Vegan Beer & Food Festival, which just announced the date for its seventh annual fête. This year, the animal product-free event takes place on Saturday, June 18, at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, and celebrates the fantastic vegan options available in Los Angeles. Tickets include unlimited pours of more than 100 different beers, along with plenty of samples from vegan restaurants and food trucks. And in case you are planning on doing a little shopping, there will be craft vendors selling their (vegan) wares, as well as live music performances.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, and while the beer and food lineup has yet to be announced, we're hoping it'll include a few repeats from last year: The Gadarene Swine, Beyond Meat, Donut Friend and more, along with Bell's Brewery, Modern Times, Kinetic and other fantastic breweries. Maybe Moby's Little Pine will make an appearance? Stay tuned for more details when the vendors are released!
