Picture 40 acres of camping, swimming, music and art in the middle of the desert. That vision, my friends, is real, and it's called Base Camp. The brand new RV and tent camp will take place during both weekends of Coachella (from April 14-18 and 21-25) and the weekend of Stagecoach (April 28-May 2), setting up shop just 6 miles south of the festival grounds to provide a camping (and partying) experience that rivals the very fests people will be in town to attend.

In addition to facilities like restrooms, showers, water, etc., Base Campers will be treated to an array of amenities so lengthy we're putting it in list form:

-Coffee bar

-Swimming pool and lake

-Lakeside cabanas and bottle service

-Field and lake cocktail bars

-Pop-up restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks

-Food & drink "room service" (more like tent service)

-Massages and yoga

-Hot air balloon rides

-Fashion boutiques (for that last minute festival style)

-Festival transportation and concierge services

Base Camp also promises daily epic desert beach parties and "secret surprises [musical note emoji]." It's free to RSVP for the parties, which will run from noon to 6pm each day with curated DJ sets, cocktails and general revelry. The parties are open to the public (so let your hotel-dwelling friends know), but registered Base Campers will get priority. Not surprisingly, all campers and beach party-goers must be 21+.

If you're interested in camping, there's a $175 per person flat rate, which includes four nights of camping (Thursday through Sunday). That rate includes your choice of campsite: 12' x 12' grass tent site; 10' x 30' grass car camp site; or 20' x 40' RV site. If you're planning on rolling with a crew, check out the slightly cheaper group rates. We suggest reserving your spot soon!
