The best Instagram photos of Projection, the ghostly Bates Motel in Silver Lake

We love free art and feeding our Instagram addictions (and sometimes both at the same time). So it's no surprise that Silver Lake's finest flocked to the derelict Sunset Pacific Motel (a.k.a. Bates Motel) on Sunday for the opening of Projection. French artist Vincent Lamouroux covered the exterior of the motel, palm trees and all, in a ghostly white limewash. The installation will remain on view until May 10; until you get a chance to check it out for yourself, here are our favorite shots from the opening.
