King King descends from a legendary, smoke-filled venue on S La Brea Avenue that used to host MC battles, acid jazz bands and DJ-driven parties that felt as illicit as they were artistic. The red-lit Hollywood reincarnation is larger and more mainstream, but you can still find adventure here, with house music, techno, cabaret and salsa offered on different nights. The door policy is inclusive, and there's room for 300 of your pals.
