One of the most Hollywood events of the summer, the Hollyshorts Film Festival is 10 days of networking events, Q&A's with filmmakers and screenings of short films produced around the world. The 7th annual fest will be held at the Chinese Theater, and every day promises numerous 30-minute films from early afternoon to midnight. And, of course, such an event wouldn't be complete without opportunities to meet people in the industry over drinks. The all-access badge sets you back $600, but it could be worth it for those planning to make the most of the festival, with its afterparties at the Roosevelt—who knows whom you'll spy at the bar?—film screenings, panel conferences and awards ceremony. If you'd rather just go for a day ($80), check the website for a full daily schedule, and scope out the trailers beforehand here.
