Sufjan Stevens may be the finest pop composer of the last decade, from the cinematic strings of "Chicago" to the Space Age symphonies on The Age of Adz. Stevens manages to wrap complexly arranged suites and heartbreaking acoustic songs into shows that are always memorable and never alike. He shares the bill with lo-fi psych troubadour Kurt Vile, whose echo-sodden blend of folk and rock is just as agreeably eccentric. The French/Cuban twin sisters Ibeyi open with smooth, rhythmic and haunting sounds.
