The 1975

This UK quartet released two EPs last year—IV and Music for Cars—which take a kitchen-sink approach to arena-rock aspirations, incorporating everything from hazy atmospherics and emo hooks to catchy synth claps and brooding, booming drums. The groove-oriented outfit hopes to mean everything to every teenager. The final product lands in unexpected ground between Bloc Party and One Direction, which made them a necessarily feel-good addition to this year's Coachella lineup. Don't miss the dancey Brits as they come to the Hollywood Palladium for two shows this November.
