This loud but friendly diner/restaurant is relatively affordable and fairly speedy, making it a good option if you're heading on to a concert at the nearby Wiltern. The cooking is simple and exuberant: pasta with Moroccan-style beef and vegetables is hearty and tasty, as is the Singapore shrimp fried rice.
