Time Out says

Pastry Chef John Park (Lukshon, Father's Office) has stepped out on his own, opening a dessert shop that has foodies abuzz. Quenelle—named for the skilled spoon technique, a representation of his work history and high standards—is a hidden gem on eclectic Magnolia Boulevard. Step inside the wood-paneled storefront to find all manner of indulgent treats, from obligatory brownies (deep chocolate and fudgy), to scones done right—the bacon cheddar scone, with a hint of sweetness and tidbits of bacon mixed throughout, gets our vote for the perfect on-the-go breakfast item. But the real draw here is the ice cream. Flavors like Strawberry Shortcake and Vietnamese Coffee are standouts, and the Blueberry Pie Ice Cream, which literally tastes like taking a bite of pie à la mode, has already garnered a following for its crunchy crust tidbits. Those in a rush can pick up one of the frozen bars—the Thin Mint Ice Cream Bar is a must for nostalgic once-Girl Scouts, while the Hibiscus Watermelon Pops are the perfect refreshing option on a hot day. Whatever you try, Quenelle is sure to satisfy your inner child's sweet tooth. Take note: the spot is cash-only, and as of now does not offer seating.
