This year, Eastside-ish food festival Taste of the Eastside is back in restaurant weekend form. From Friday, April 22 to Sunday, April 24, participating diners can pick up signature dishes and offerings unique to the festival for dine-in, takeout and delivery; 25% of all proceeds will go to Friends of the LA River and Silver Lake's Rose Scharlin Cooperative Nursery School. Featured vendors include Tex-Mex favorite HomeState, Virgil Village wine bar Melody, Bé Ù Vietnamese Kitchen and more.
