6th Street Bridge Farewell Festival

The Sixth Street Viaduct—one of the most iconic spans across the LA River—isn't slated for demolition until January, but Councilmember José Huizar is hosting a farewell concert and festival in its honor this weekend. War, Aloe Blacc and Graciela Beltran headline an afternoon that also includes food trucks, mural paintings, kids activities and a Sixth Street Bridge Art exhibit from Art Share LA. To top it all off, there'll be a fireworks show at the end of the night.
