Charles Phoenix: Disneyland tour of Downtown Los Angeles

Imagine Downtown LA as an amusement park, with its different themed districts. Weird, right? If this piqued your curiosity and you're willing to put on your walking shoes, why not try a bus tour of Downtown's landmarks, reimagined as Disneyland's Adventureland, Fantasyland, etc.? Led by Americana addict and humorist Charles Phoenix, it's a quirky way to close out the summer and an opportunity to explore parts of DTLA you might not have visited before, including Phillipe's, Angel's Flight—the tour includes a ride up to the Water Garden—the Bradbury Building and Olvera Street. The ticket is on the pricey side, but it incldues lunch, museum and show tickets and (air conditioned) transportation. The six-hour tour starts and ends at Union Station, going from 11am-5pm.
