Day drinking, literature and humanitarian work combine at this boozy brunch to benefit children's writing nonprofit, 826LA. For $10 at the door, you'll enjoy mimosas galore, in addition to a full Sunday spread of turkey bacon, pancakes, scones and more—all the while knowing that 100 percent of the proceeds will go to 826LA's educational programs. Of course no book lovers' brunch would be complete without a few midday readings. The literary lineup features Dorothy Fortenberry, novelist James Hannaham, journalist Ana Kasparian, author JJ Keith and writers Samantha Powell and Lilliam Rivera.
