Serving chocolate and churros (deep-fried batter sticks) to the city night and day since 1894, this veritable institution has had to introduce a ticketing system - pay before you order - to deal with the 5am queues of exhausted clubbers and chipper old ladies. The lighting is a bit much if you fall into the former category, but there are at least tables outside.

These churros are out of this world. Set in a typical Spanish side street, you would have no idea you were in such a busy bustling city. It's the perfect chilled out place to counteract the hectic atmosphere of nearby shopping streets. Portions are generous and fairly cheap, one portion of Churros and Chocolate between three chocoholics was even too much...!
