Maricastaña

This bar-restaurant with a vintage air about it is in the heart of the Malasaña neighbourhood, in one of the most well-travelled streets of the barrio. They've got a select fixed lunch menu, though their strong suits are breakfast, brunch and late-night drinks. The scene is set with background music, a big wooden table to share and lots of light, thanks to the big windows that open onto the street. Maricastaña is great for lunch with friends, a date or to have a drink before taking in the show at Teatro Lara, just opposite.
