Don Paco, now in his 80s, is a former bullfighter from Jérez, and the Andalucian matador in him is charmingly apparent in his 45-year-old restaurant. With photos of famous visitors (the King and his parents were regulars, and Bob Hope ate here too) and Andalucian memorabilia covering the walls, it oozes southern style. Tinto de verano ('summer wine' cut with lemonade) on tap, ample sherry options… who needs Seville? Dishes can be variable, and this is more about atmosphere.
