Yet another of the pan-Asian restaurants to hit Madrid. Yes, it's Asian fusion with modern design, but Indochine is more relaxed and less style-conscious than the rest. It's best for a lunchtime menú del día: enjoy piquant sweet and sour soup followed by some decent pad thai and then - the most interesting part - green-tea ice-cream with caramelised walnuts on top (trust us, it's good). If you're going à la carte, the Peking duck is a safe bet. Ask for a table in the front, near the tall windows looking out on C/Hortaleza; the back rooms are a bit on the dreary side.
