Time Out says

An eclectic contemporary arts center and event space in the southwest outskirts of the city, founded by notorious Czech artist David Černý.

This industrial, graffiti-styled warehouse nestled beside a set of train tracks provides a roof over a collection of international innovators in music, theater, and visual arts. The studio residency program attracts artists from around Central Europe. The sounds of outdoor films, theatrical performances, and a general vibe of creativity float through the air at all times. The stated mission of this hard-to-define space includes fostering dialogue between different artistic genres, supporting original work on interdisciplinary and experimental platforms, and opening an exchange between contemporary artists and the general public. The on-site bar keeps residents and visitors lubricated with specialty coffee, Club Mate, and beer from the Matuška brewery.

Time Out tip: Come with an open mind, ready to live and experience whatever opportunities and interactions are thrown your way.
