This charming 15th-century palazzo, which belonged to Spanish fashion designer Mariano Fortuny (1871-1949), has been undergoing restoration and reorganisation for many years now. However, the piano nobile, where Fortuny had his studio, and the floor above are generally open for temporary exhibitions. These are often photographic, photography being one of Fortuny's interests, alongside theatrical set design, cloth dyes and some elegant silk dresses. Also on display are some of Fortuny's paintings of Middle Eastern views.
