Format says
"Looking for the fern blossom" is a traditional Estonian phrase signifying the absurd and the elusive. Young couples sneaking off into the night are said to be in search of the impossible "fern blossom". Ferns are not a flowering plant, but there is still fun to be had disappearing into the woods in search of the mythical.

Meet at Format Systems around four o'clock this Friday for a complimentary beverage, before embarking on a leisurely tour of some of Adelaide's more obscure oddities. Guests with a reliable income are encouraged to make a five dollar donation.

Cocktails courtesy of Augnablik Cafe and a live concert featuring The Basty H Yuletide Enseble, Pat Telfer and Choral Grief await you at the end of the tour.

Brad Cameron has been conducting walking tours of metropolitan Adelaide for more than forty years. A pioneer of the Dada School and the early Theatre of Cruelty, Cameron gave up the avant garde for a lucritive Hollywood career, carrying classic films such as Blazing Saddles, See No Evil, Hear No Evil and the Lost City franchise. He lives in North Adelaide with his five children.
