Artist talks from 6pm

FRONT GALLERY: Failed Restorations – Ida Lawrence (NSW)

Full of confidence - and with the best of intentions - Ida Lawrence took to the streets (alone) with the aim of restoring the urban landscape to its former glory... but with very little knowledge of how that should look...

BACK GALLERY: Shuffling Slowly Toward the Exit – Shannon Lyons (WA)

Shuffling slowly toward the exit is a new site-responsive architectural insertion by Perth-based visual artist Shannon Lyons, that calls into question the pre-existing architectural particularities and specificities of the FELTspace Back Gallery.

FELTdark: You Can See Me But I Can’t See You – Kristen Coleman (SA)

Kristen Coleman explores cinema and the traditionally centred and distanced spectator position. You Can See Me But I Can’t See You challenges and reverses the idea of cinematic voyeurism, an act that is inherent to the medium itself.
