As part of the South Australian Museum’s upcoming exhibition Opals, award winning Australian author Janette Turner Hospital will be sharing stories from her time spent researching opal mining communities for her novel OYSTER.

Hosted by Adelaide Writers’ Week director Laura Kroetsch and MC’d by 891 ABC radio presenter Sonya Feldhoff, join Janette for a night of literary discussion as she explores the challenges of capturing the harsh realities of life in remote Australia.

When: Tuesday 29 September, 6pm – 7:30pm
Where: Pacific Cultures Gallery, South Australian Museum
Tickets: $25 per person

Tickets include entry to the Opals exhibition and a glass of wine on arrival.
