Tasty by name, tasty by nature. The emphasis at this Hamra street café is clearly on the food. Not that the décor is neglected. Rather that the simple and tasteful approach focusses on comfort over gimmicks and that is appreciated. There is plenty of outdoor seating and despite being in Hamra, the outside seating can be enjoyed with fairly minimal disturbance from traffic. Inside there are a few screens, usually showing the latest football match and a simple street café style seating arrangements.
But it really is the food which takes centre stage at Tasty. If you’re looking for Lebanese then you’ll have to go for breakfast, after that it’s all international with a dizzying mixt of salads, pizza, pasta, burgers and platters.
