Data Visualisation And Presentation For Financial Modellers

Plum Solutions, Using Excel for Business Analysis says
Join us for a drink and network with other modellers. Did you know that people actually trust your numbers more if you spend time on making your reports and presentations look more attractive?

Once we've finished building a financial model, we then need to display its results clearly and concisely to get your message across, whether via a written report or oral presentation. This final stage of the model building process is sometimes not given as much focus by many modellers, particularly those whose skills are often more analytical than visual.

Danielle Stein Fairhurst, author of "Using Excel for Business Analysis" will give a short presentation on tips for making the output of your financial model clear, concise and easy to understand. We will discuss:

• Reporting best practice design and layout and the best methods to turn numerical information into powerful visuals

• Why simply copying a spreadsheet onto a slide doesn’t work

• Reduce clutter to get your message across in the most direct and meaningful way

This free information session and networking event will start at 6:30pm and the main presentation will begin around 7pm.

It's a great opportunity to network with other modellers, catch up with old friends and make new ones. Don't worry if you're not a hard-core financial modeller, but we will be talking Excel & Data Visualisation so hopefully you've at least got a passing interest in the subject!

All welcome, and there is no charge for this event. Don't forget your business cards!
