The Boys is the first taste of Lisa’s upcoming album Warriors, out on October 14 th and available to pre-order now. The ‘mesmerising pop’ (i-D Magazine) of the lead track has received extensive critical acclaim and praise as a ‘retro pop anthem’ (Idolator).

“It strokes my ears like a melodic feather,” – Triple J Good Nights

“Mitchell’s delicate, ethereal vocals strip us right down to vulnerable younger selves” –

Warriors is produced by US success Eric J Dubowsky, aka Eric J (Chet Faker, Flume, The Rubens) and is a slight departure from the acoustic guitar-driven songwriting of her previous work, including her debut album Wonder, which reached #6 in Australia and came to achieve platinum status.

“We really got rid of a lot of guitar and piano in this album,” says Lisa. “I was interested in someone doing a different thing than what I’d done in the past. That felt refreshing.”
