Asanka Restaurant
Dan Neilsen

This small restaurant has an upmarket local feel to it. Under low bamboo ceilings, and with African motifs painted on the walls, the place has a relaxed family atmosphere. The small menu is 100 per cent Ghanaian and one of the most authentic in Accra. The banku and tilapia are particularly good here, but almost all dishes are a decent bet.  For the uninitiated, the water bowls and liquid are to wash your hands after digging in with your fingers.
