If the Arts Centre seems a little too hectic – and it certainly can do – this three-storey shop is full of much the same kind of goods, albeit with fixed prices. There are dozens of rooms, each representing a different medium: you’ll find woodwork, beads, Kente cloth, clothing, painting, sculpture and a handful of antiquities. There’s definitely a fair amount of tat (keyrings, flags, Ghana T-shirts), but it offers serious artworks too. Friendly (and numerous) staff will advise on the provenance of each item. Come here for relaxed souvenir shopping – although don’t expect to find that exclusive painting.
