Not the best drive to take if you're a passenger prone to car sickness, this long and winding road starts in Hout Bay and bends in and out of the mountain about a hundred times before it ends in Noordhoek. At the time of writing, the Drive was closed until further notice due to rockfalls, but visitors can still drive about halfway up at no charge to enjoy the spectacular views of the bay.

Beautiful scenery! This was one of the reasons for my re-visit (this time with entire family) in November to the Western Cape. A mystery visit for everyone. Nice easy drive, lots of lay-bys to rest and view. Toll fees now R30.
