This hipster hangout is all about the gourmet burger - whether it's the gargantuan classic beef Royale, the Googamooly with its guacamole doused vegetarian lentil and chickpea patty, or the perennially popular Norwood, with mushroom, three cheeses and green peppercorn sauce. All burgers come with a choice of American-style fries, potato wedges or sweet potato chips. The downstairs area is kitted out with retro booths and quirky contemporary artwork; the upstairs Royale Kitchen is an Amélie-inspired wonderland of antique props and sheet-music wallpaper. The super thick shakes for dessert are a must.
