Worldly and award-winning cuisine takes centre stage against an eye-popping backdrop of mountains and vineyards. The late chef patron, Frank Swainston, has left quite a culinary legacy and his influence is still very visible on the menu. Chef Clayton Bell creates layered, delicate tastes and textures from top-notch seasonal produce - the sweetbread marsala, tripe Fiorentina and Karoo lamb flavoured with Provençal herbs are the (food)stuff legends are made of. Equally enamouring starters include tuna carpaccio, tomato tart and a classically creamy Caesar salad.
