Affectionately known as the 'Gay Spur' (ask a local to explain), this is one of the longest-running eateries and bars in Cape Town. Always friendly and always busy, this favoured hangout is renowned for its tasty pieces of meat (the type you throw on a grill, people). Its popularity recently led to a second branch opening at 247 Main Road, Sea Point (021 439 9666).
