It's no joke that Chicagoans love pizza. The city is a goldmine for the stuff regardless of style—we love our thin crust just as much as our deep dish pies. And we do all the styles right. So this year, Chicago is finally getting a food festival devoted entirely to pizza—presented by the folks at Old Style and the Empty Bottle—on April 3 at Chop Shop in Wicker Park.

When the festival was first announced, there wasn't a lineup but the initial allotment of tickets sold out anyways—like we said, Chicago loves its pizza. Now, organizers have released a list of the participating pizzerias (see below) and have announced that a small number of additional tickets to the event will go on sale at 10am on Friday, March 18. Each ticket is $35 and includes all you can eat pizza, five beer tickets and a commemorative Old Style pizza shaped plate. Both sessions will end with a keynote speech from rock musician and party icon Andrew W.K.

Pizza vendors include:
Lou Malnati's
Boiler Room
Santullo's
Gino's East
Connie's
Dante's Pizzeria
Taco in a Bag serving "Pizza in a Bag"
Home Run Inn
Dimo's Pizza
Pie Eyed Pizza
Flo & Santo's
and a special guest participant, yet to be announced
