Fat Rice serving up pot pies at Lone Wolf

Randolph Street bar Lone Wolf has always served excellent flaky pot pies from Pleasant House Bakery, but this summer it's also been offering special pies from restaurants like Carriage House and Honey Butter Fried Chicken.

The best collaboration has to be August's, though, since now you can skip the wait at Fat Rice while still getting to eat chef Abraham Conlon's food. Starting today, get a Portuguese Chicken Pot Pie, a savory pie stuffed with coconut chicken, chorizo and olives. It's served with chili lemon and Fat Rice's Diablo hot sauce on the side.

The pies are $10 each (or for $12, add a draft of 3 Floyds' Gumballhead or Zombie Dust), and proceeds benefit La Casa Norte, which assists homeless families.
