Hot Doug's former Avondale storefront may be defunct, but owner Doug Sohn has done a remarkable job of keeping his sausage creations available in Chicago, from his stand at Wrigley Field to the occasional pop-up. Now Sohn is bringing the Dog Dayz of Summer festival back to the Goose Island Barrel Warehouse, offering up three sessions of music, sausages and beer.

Just like last summer's event, Dog Dayz of Summer will have a menu of Hot Doug's "greatest hits," including gourmet sausages and the restaurant's famous duck fat fries. Each ticket includes three Goose Island beers, as well as a token that attendees can redeem for a taste of specialty beer (some Bourbon County Stout, perhaps?).

Each of the three sessions, spread across June 24 and 25, will boast a distinct music lineup. Indie rockers Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will headline the June 24 session, while local alt-country act the Waco Brothers will play early on June 25 and Celtic punks the Tossers will head up the evening's lineup.

Tickets to this culinary smorgasbord don't come cheap—admission to each session is $74.84, but the sausages are unlimited, so arrive hungry and you'll get your money's worth.
