Guided by Voices at Pitchfork Music Festival 2011

This environmentally conscious  Wicker Park festival takes over Damen Ave, bringing green vendors, food and biodiesel- and bicycle-powered live music to the neightborhood for two nights. Guided By Voices headlines this year, playing from two new (at the time of writing this it remains just two) 2014 albums. One of them is called Cool Planet, which is probably not about global warming denial. The Features, the Soil & The Sun, Viet Cong and Cheap Girls round out the lineup. If you're not digging the music, just head over to Big Star and order a couple tacos.
