Time Out says

Hello, it's Adele. On the heels of selling 5 million copies (and counting) of her new album 25, the English superstar is crossing the pond to embark on a U.S. tour. With numerous chart-topping singles, a trio of multi-platinum albums and one of the most memorable Bond themes to her name, she can easily claim the title of the Queen of Pop (the kind that you listen to when you're feeling a little sad).

The last time Adele came to Chicago she played the Riv (in 2008, she turned in a set at Martyrs—can you imagine?), but this time around she'll be performing for three nights at the United Center. It might not be the most intimate venue in town, but when you have as many fans as Adele, you need a location with a bunch of seats. Rest assured, her beautiful voice will fill the arena.

Tickets for all three shows will go on sale Thursday, December 17 at 10am. Rumor has it they'll sell out in minutes—act fast.
