Bel Canto

A new work based on the best-selling novel by Ann Patchett, this multilingual opera explores the relationships that develop between captives and captors during a hostage crisis in a Peruvian presidential mansion. Assembling an international cast that include Danielle de Niese in the lead role of an American diva, the production also features music by rising Peruvian composer Jimmy López.
