Pretty much the ultimate stoner-metal band, California's Sleep attained legendary status in the ’90s on the strength of its ultra-extended slo-mo epics. Locally, the band is best known as the namesake of the Thanksgiving burger at Kuma’s Corner. During a two-night stand at Thalia Hall, Sleep comes armed with the sludgy melodies and euphoric arrangements of its seminal 2003 release, Dopesmoker. Bongripper opens the first night, while the Skull supports at the second show.
