Nepalese cooking is a serious business and nowhere is it taken more to heart than at this excellent, city-centre restaurant. Among the suruwat (starters) are such delights as crab claws with onions, capsicum and fresh herbs, while moukhay khana (main courses) include all kinds of deeply flavoured and richly spiced curries, kebabs and stir-fries. To wash it down, the house Shiva lager was specially commissioned from a local micro-brewery to match the food. As for the decor, it's all very cosy, with pleasant, low-key staff to make you feel right at home. The perfect place, then, to get the ball rolling on a night out in town.
