Likely as not, your mouth will already be watering when you reach the restaurant of this foodie institution (you enter the building via the superb deli on the ground floor). It's a pleasant, business-like kind of space with an excellent menu of refined brasserie fare and some lovely wines to complete the picture. Roast saddle of pancetta-wrapped rabbit stuffed with wild mushroom mousse would be a typical offering from the main courses. There's another, more casual operation in the basement where excellent cheese platters and charcuterie can be wolfed down with large glasses of affordable vino, or else a really quick café operation (but still with an emphasis on top-notch ingredients) on the ground floor, among the shelves of the food hall. All in all, F & B is a consistently excellent operation catering for pretty much every culinary need under one roof.
