A lot more spacious than it appears from its unassuming entrance, Yamamori Sushi stretches back into a light, bright atrium with a busy sushi counter and rows of packed tables waited on by efficient business-like staff. The sushi here (nigiri and norimaki) is excellent - the best in the city, in fact - but there's plenty more on offer for those who'd rather have something hot or, at the very least, cooked. Try the richly flavoured salmon teriyaki or the hearty suki yaki (thinly sliced marbled sirloin served in a cast-iron pan). Aside from the Kirin, saki and plum wine you might expect to see here, there's also a surprisingly full wine list.
