Yamamori Sushi review 1 Users say 1/5 Rate it

A lot more spacious than it appears from its unassuming entrance, Yamamori Sushi stretches back into a light, bright atrium with a busy sushi counter and rows of packed tables waited on by efficient business-like staff. The sushi here (nigiri and norimaki) is excellent - the best in the city, in fact - but there's plenty more on offer for those who'd rather have something hot or, at the very least, cooked. Try the richly flavoured salmon teriyaki or the hearty suki yaki (thinly sliced marbled sirloin served in a cast-iron pan). Aside from the Kirin, saki and plum wine you might expect to see here, there's also a surprisingly full wine list.

If you want to read a rude story read below, a restauant that hangs up in your face because you ask for an information and you want to book a table!

I tried to book a table in this restaurant yesterday night for 20 people asking if we can have only 1 table and if I could know the shape of the table (I wanted to make sure we could all interact so I was trying to avoid L shapes or similar). I explained that this was important for me and that, even though I am (now was) a regular customer, this time I may have been forced to book somewhere else if this was not possible. I was booking for a friday so I tried to show that I would have been perfectly understanding if my requests could not be met but I just wanted to have these two information in advance.

I had to contact the place 4 time.
When they picked up, the person was hardly speaking English. I was told that my booking was not confirmed and that I would have received a call from them. This never happend and I tried to call later that evening but they could not confirm again.
A day later, still no sign from their side I decide to call them back to know if we have our table or not. I have less than 24 h to find a place so I begin to be worried.

I call back and I am told that i have two separate tables. Then I try to explain that, on my previous communication this was not my request and that, if they were not able accommodate us together then I was forced to go somewhere else. I try to understand the situation when i hear "then go somewhere else" and THEY HANGED UP IN MY FACE!

I think it must be a line problem and I call back to verify if they actually hanged up in my face. The man i was talking to starts SCREAMING to me over the phone, then he puts the phone down and calls a colleague without even telling me that he was putting me on hold. While the colleague arrives to pick the phone I could perfectly hear the man CALLING ME WITH OFFENSIVE WORDS AND NAMES.

Food is not the only thing in a restaurant, customer service and behavior matter as well.

The price of 15-19 if you take a soup and water, a plate with a little seaweed sushi and costs 25 €. Badly cut and is a site with fellow works binges. Large tables and little Japanese, Chinese rather innkeeper.
Do not understand how this early d this list, this list will not made by experts?
