Bewley's Oriental Café review Rate it

It's not exactly a well-kept secret but this long-standing café on Grafton Street deserves its pole position on the tourist circuit, for its pedigree alone. Ernest Bewley first started brewing coffee and baking sticky buns for Dubliners over a century ago, when he opened the first of his Oriental Cafés. This flagship café opened its doors in 1927 and has since gone through many hands; it's now the only remaining café bearing the Bewley's name, and worth visiting - even if only to breakfast by the beauty of the original Harry Clarke windows on the ground floor.
