Sunday saw the first of two days of colourful street partying at Notting Hill Carnival. The weather may have been a little mixed – this is still England after all – but the crowds were as busy as ever, with costumes, body paint and pineapple cocktails for all as the parade wound its way through the west London neighbourhood.
