It’s Kevin!

The bridesmaid becomes the bride as Kevin Eldon gets his own show

Advertising

March 2013, BBC2
The racist businessman in ‘I’m Alan Partridge!’. The cuckolded husband in ‘Nighty Night’. False Rod Hull in ‘Fist of Fun’. We could go on. Kevin Eldon has made a fine career out of memorable cameos and bit parts, while carving out a sideline in deeply eccentric, brilliantly funny stand-up. But finally, the bridesmaid becomes the bride: the man gets his own show in which he’ll be calling in a few favours from his comedy friends with a series of sketches, songs, characters and so on. We can’t wait.
