Time Out says

This 110-acre studio on the Valley side of the Hollywood Hills has served as the home of Warner Bros. since 1928. Since then, the studio has hosted production on a seemingly endless list of iconic movies and TV shows, including CasablancaLooney Tunes, FriendsEllen, Gilmore Girls and, more recently, Abbott Elementary and The Studio. Today, you can tour the backlot and soundstages on the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

Warner Bros.’ three-hour guided tram and walking tour zips you through the studio’s sizable footprint along with about a dozen other passengers. It’s an encyclopedic tour of all types of filming locations, with a journey through the backlot’s city stand-ins and Gilmore Girls-famous residential square, as well as stops inside an interactive soundstage and at a few museum-caliber displays of props. Though you’ll spend some time simply driving around the sprawling grid of soundstages, you’ll also stop and venture on foot among memorable photo ops, including a seat on the couch at Friends’ Central Perk or in The Big Bang Theory’s Apartment 4A.

In 2021, the tour reopened with new, interactive offerings and an expanded store (just try to get out of there without spending upward of $100 on merch you never knew you needed). Highlights include the “Storytelling Showcase,” which explores nearly a century of the studio’s history, and the interactive and very photogenic finale, “Action and Magic Made Here,” where all of the DC Comics and Wizarding World props have been moved. Don the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter or try your luck in potions class, and come face to face with almost every Batman suit imaginable. In addition, they’ve doubled down on the Friends experience with an expanded, fully functional Central Perk that includes shopping and dining areas set in re-creations of the cafe, as well as Monica’s and Joey and Chandler’s apartments.

The studio also hosts special events and themed tours throughout the year, from mini horror-centric tours and movie screenings during WB Behind the Horror to the wildly popular Holidays Made Here, set inside a fully functional Stars Hollow each holiday season. There’s also a designated TCM tour offered year-round, for fans of the classic films that put Warner Bros. on the map.

For fans of: Gilmore Girls, The Big Bang Theory, Friends, Harry Potter, BatmanAquamanWonder WomanLooney Tunes, Pretty Little Liars, classic films

You won’t find anywhere else: By far the most to see on any studio tour and the most interactive elements.
