Time Out says

Reading into History, the family book club that meets every month at the New-York Historical Society, will next discuss the novel Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy, a book that follows the friendship between Turner Buckminster, a boy who's just moved to Phippsburg, Maine, and Lizzie Bright Griffin, a girl from Malaga Island, a community founded by formerly enslaved persons. Set in 1912 and based on a true story, Turner and Lizzie band together to try to save their community. If you want to join the family book club email list, write the museum at familyprograms@nyhistory.org. Ages 9-12.
