The New-York Historical Society has come up with an amazing way to commemorate the 150th anniversary of what's likely the most heartrending moments in U.S. history: the Civil War. This show looks at the personal stories told by quilts, clothing and other artifacts made on the homefront at a time when familial bonds were put to the test by forces beyond anyone's control. All ages.
