Mother's Day at CMA

Celebrate the special lady in your life with a day of art-making at the Children's Museum of the Arts—Mom gets in for free on Mother's Day! Check out some couture garments made entirely of Crayola crayons (on loan from Bloomingdale's), create a sewn paper collage portrait of mom and make a handmade flower bouquet. The creativity continues in the Fine Arts Studio where kids get to write and record an "Ode to Mom," sculpt a bust at the Clay Bar and animate a scrabble message. Little ones (ages 5 and under) can make dot marker cards in the WEE Arts Studio. All ages.
