Kids and tweens who loved the movie Spy Kids and dream of becoming secret agents themselves can experience the world of espionage at this Times Square exhibition. There’s a bounty of exciting artifacts and spy gadgets on display; kids will especially like the concealment objects, including a tube of shaving cream and an iron that can be disassembled to hold camera film or important documents. Children can also put their skills to the test by dashing through a laser maze and dodging tricky beams, speaking into a voice changer, or taking a photo of their face on a screen, then choosing different options to disguise their appearance. Tweens and adults will enjoy the touch-screens throughout the museum that show narrated surveillance films of spies like Anna Chapman in action, as well as interviews with former CIA agents like Peter Earnest and John Cardwell. Youngsters can even load up on spy gear in the gift shop and continue their new undercover lives at home.
